frequently asked questions
What is direct primary care?
Direct Primary Care (DPC) is a simple, membership-based approach to healthcare. Instead of using insurance for routine visits, you pay a monthly membership fee that gives you direct access to our providers.
That means longer appointments, easier communication (call, text, or video), and care that’s focused on you, not rushed or limited by insurance. It’s a more personal, accessible way to manage your everyday health needs.
Is care provided by licensed medical professionals?
Yes. Care at Worth Med is provided by a team of licensed medical professionals, including Dr. Lindsey Taylor, a board-certified physician, along with Physician Assistant (PA) Melanie Hopf and Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) Megan Nonte.
This is not a coaching service, wellness subscription, or medication-only clinic. All evaluations, prescriptions, and follow-up care are handled directly by our care team.

How do you bill for labs & medications?
Labs and medications are not included in the membership and are tailored to your needs. Some may be covered by insurance, while others are available at affordable cash-pay pricing.
We’ll always review your options and pricing with you ahead of time so you know exactly what to expect.
Should I cancel my insurance?
We recommend having health insurance to help cover major, unexpected events like hospital stays, surgery, or specialized care.
At Worth Med, we focus on the care you use most—supporting your everyday health needs and helping you stay well. For anything beyond that, having additional coverage can give you extra peace of mind.
What if i need to cancel my membership?
We recognize that your needs might evolve, and we’re here to support you through any transitions you may be undergoing. You can cancel your membership at any time with a 30-day notice.
